Here's our Training Level Test 1. The lattice work braid took longer than I'd planned for so we didn't have enough time to warm up for this test, but that's OK. I think she did just fine. We got the second highest score for this test and the judge wrote: "Nice pair and quite accurate test. With a little more suppleness and connection scores will go up."

You can see that Kelton is still out of condition in that she's a little strung out and not really coming round, but I'm not asking her to either, although I encourage it when she offers it naturally. I'll continue to slowly ask for more so that she builds condition without bracing or getting tense. Her neck could be more supple and her gaits be a little more balanced and forward, but we've got plenty of time to work on those things. I'm just thrilled that I finally got to show her at all, since I'd about given up on that!
